$5 Friday
Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 is $5 Friday. Because we rely on donations of caring individuals, monetary donations to A Gift of Love is extremely important. On 11-4-11 we ask that you please make a donation to A Gift of Love, so that children in need will have full bellies and a warm coat. Every dollar counts, so if you wish to donate more or less it doesn't matter. Every cent is appreciated and has a direct effect on children in your community. Please help us in our goal to help those in need by donating what you can on $5 Friday!
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is coming up faster than ever and we need your help! We are still collecting food for our enrolled families and have a lot of necessities.
Here is a list of the things we still need for Thanksgiving:
We really need these items as soon as possible! Enrolled families will being picking up their Thanksgiving dinners on Nov. 17, therefore all final donations are needed by Nov. 14! Time is running away from us as this holiday season begins to sneak up on us! So please help us by donating anything you can to make sure that every child has a home cooked, Thanksgiving dinner with their families!
Here is a list of the things we still need for Thanksgiving:
- 200 Turkeys
- Corn
- Green beans
- Can sweet potatoes 5lb. bag potatoes
- 5lb. bag Corn Meal
- Dozen eggs
- Tea
- Sugar
